We were assigned to design a villa while keeping eye on the best possible utilization of land installation indicators, and creating a demanding and innovative built environment that adequately represents the characteristics of the suburban living environment of today. Together with our client we wanted to show that with the habitual gabled form and proportions, playing with the amount of the traditional building materials (plaster, wood, glass) a new and demanding suburban architectural quality can be created. The result is made by colliding two gabled forms with a slight rotation. One of the shapes represents traditional suburban lifestyle ( with traditional masonry materials) while another represents the city lifestyle that our client wants to bring to the area.
