Aftab residential complex is located in West of Tehran in District 22. The area with its surroundings that includes the Lake, Mountain, Cheetgar Forest Park and Botanical Park, has a great potential for building green structures. The designing strategy of the project was to design three separate towers, given the importance of natural approaches in the area. This strategy can give the best view range for the towers in the complex and also it will not block the views of the neighboring towers towards the surroundings. This will also increase the measure of skylight and will reduce the horizontal circulations in each floor. According to gain the best skylight, efficient use of the wind, reducing ghosting, better public spaces on the ground floor, increasing the visibility range and observe the permitted density on the upper floors, each tower were designed with steep in two dimensions within the site. The result will improve the body proportions of the human when facing the towers with its approximately 70m height. The upper section of the tower creating a range of point of view in the three domains (mountains in the north, Lake Forest Park South East Cheetgar). It also will help to create a dynamic roof space added to the penthouse apartments as a private courtyard which is generally will not be used in ordinary buildings. The outer shell units three towers with each other and connects walls, ceilings and floors in a way that it creates a unique form for the entire complex. Maintaining privacy for residential floors and reducing the west light radiation can be other uses of the facade's pattern. The landscape with its stairs and accesses follows the same pattern.
